For traders

Check a signal channel or a copy trader before you follow them

Every number here is ours: a channel’s signals replayed on 1-minute candles, a copy trader’s whole exchange history read every day. This page is the manual — what each tool does, what each number means, and what is free.

  • Real exchange data
  • Losses shown, never hidden
  • Anchored in Arbitrum
  • We rate. We never execute.

What we are, and what we are not

“We rate. We never execute.”
We measure what channels and copy traders published and what the market did next.
  • We place no trades and hold no funds
  • We give no advice: not whom to follow, not which leverage is safe
  • Every signal we record is anchored in Arbitrum within 24 hours — check any record

How to use ChainRated

From a name you were sent to a decision that stays yours.

  1. Find the channel or the trader

Search by name or @handle, or browse signal channels, copy traders and the leaderboard.

Not found? We list channels we can read signal by signal; newer or private ones are often missing.

  2. Read its page, top to bottom

Flags and verdict, then the metrics, then every signal’s outcome, then the raw posts. Each layer is computed from the one below it.

How to read a channel page

  3. Check it yourself

Backtest the channel with your own deposit, leverage and stops, or check any recorded signal against its anchor on /verify/.

Your backtest does not touch the channel’s record.

  4. Compare before you choose

Put two copy traders side by side on /compare/.

Free: a preview of both. Pro: every line.

Which page answers which question

A channel has two pages: the full record, and a short answer to “is it legit?”. Channels and copy traders are rated apart, by different numbers.

How to read a channel page, top to bottom

Every channel page is built the same way, so two channels read side by side.

The four layers of a channel page
LayerWhat it is
Flags & verdictThe labels under the channel’s name and the channel score, computed from the outcomes below.
MetricsAccuracy and the rest, computed from the same outcomes.
Outcomes, signal by signalReplayed once a day on the next day’s 1-minute candles. A signal posted since the last run is waiting for the market and gets an outcome on the next run.
Raw postsRecorded in real time, as the channel posts them.

Data only moves up: nothing on this site changes what was recorded — a backtest does not touch the history, the owner cannot edit theirs, and neither can we: every day’s new signals are fingerprinted on Arbitrum.

The numbers, in words

What would have happened — not what will. The exact rules are on /methodology/.

  • +2%one take-profit, the same for every channel
  • 5% · 10%two fixed stops, two Accuracies
  • 1 mincandles every signal is replayed on
  • 24 huntil a day’s signals are anchored in Arbitrum
  • Accuracy, 5% stop

Of every signal a channel published: did the price reach +2% from the channel’s own entry before it fell 5%? One rule for every channel, no leverage. Channels are ranked by this one.

    The test →

  • Accuracy, 10% stop

The same test with a 10% stop, shown on each channel’s page beside the first. The channel’s own stop is not used.

Why fixed stops of 5% and 10% →

  • Channel score, 0–100

The number the leaderboard ranks on: Accuracy at the 5% stop (60%) and slippage (40%). A part we cannot measure is dropped, never counted as a zero.

    The channel score →

  • Honesty

Edits and deletions after publication, entries the market never reached, reposts of another channel’s feed, incomplete calls. Shown next to the score, never counted in it.

What Honesty is made of →

  • Life Score

A copy trader’s whole history from our daily archive, blow-ups included: each observed blow-up caps it, and a deposit reset never ages out of the record.

    Copy traders’ scores →

  • Verified Score and Overall Score

Verified Score (1.0–9.9) reads the curve we archived: deepest drawdown, the share of profitable days, all-time return. Overall is 60% Life Score and 40% Verified Score.

Verified Score and Overall Score →

What a high Accuracy does and does not mean. With a +2% target, even a random direction passes this test more often than not: roughly 71% of the time at a 5% stop and roughly 83% at a 10% stop, because the target is closer than the stop. That level is the same for every channel, so comparing channels with each other stays fair — but a number in that range on its own is not evidence of skill. What sets a channel apart is how far above it it sits, and for how many signals.

What traders ask before trusting a rating

In their own words, from Reddit and our forum. Each answer is how the site works, not a promise.

“Crypto. Telegram. Always a scam.”

Plenty are — so nothing here rests on a channel’s word. Every message it posts is parsed into a trade and replayed against 1-minute candles; the result is ours, computed from price history, not the channel’s claim. Scam reports are public in the Scam DB.

“95% accuracy” on every channel’s banner.

We never print a channel’s own figure. Ours is one test for every channel: the channel’s entry, one take at +2%, a fixed 5% stop, no leverage. Even a random direction passes it about 71% of the time — what matters is how far above that a channel sits.

“The public group was wall-to-wall winning trades and no losers.”

Here the losers stay. Every outcome is replayed from the post as we first read it, deleted signals stay in the count, and edits do not move the metric.

“They edit and delete calls after the fact.”

Edits and deletions are counted in Honesty, next to the score. Each day’s new signals are anchored in Arbitrum, so two things stop being possible without it showing: editing what a signal said, and quietly removing one from a day that was already anchored. Check a record yourself.

“If somebody could genuinely turn things into gold, why would they be selling you the instructions?”

We do not answer that for them, and we sell no signals of our own. We show what a channel’s signals would have done — not what they will — and the decision stays yours.

“The people running the group get their position on before the call goes out.”

That shows up as slippage: how far the price moves against the author’s entry in the first minutes after the post. It is 40% of the channel score.

“+166%” — of the margin, with leverage.

A signal channel gets no return figure here: a return depends on sizing and leverage the channel never states. Want your own sizing? That is the backtest — and tuning parameters until it looks good is curve-fitting, not edge.

“I picked them mostly on PnL and ROI… one was running 125x.”

Life Score reads a copy trader’s whole history, blow-ups included. A bad day or a deposit reset never ages out of this record the way it ages out of a 30-day leaderboard. Traders who blew up.

“Anyone can write anything on the internet.”

So do not take ours on faith: the rules are on /methodology/, any anchored record can be checked without an account, and nobody can buy a score, a rank or a fact; every paid place on the site is labelled as paid.
