How long before a new trader gets Verified status here?

It is not a waiting period — it is a data threshold, and it differs by listing type.

Signal channels. Verified means we have replayed the channel's published signals against historical candles and published the result. That requires a parsing mask proven on a real sample of the channel's messages, and at least 10 scored verdicts before we show a hit rate at all (three signals at 100% is an anecdote wearing a percentage). A channel that posts a handful of calls a month simply takes longer to reach that bar.

Copy traders. There is no badge to earn — the score is computed from the equity curve as soon as we track the account, and the profile discloses how many days we have observed. A young account gets a lower confidence, not a pending status: little history means "unproven", not "elite", and the score reflects that.

Neither type can be bought or requested. Paid listings buy placement in a labelled block, never a badge or a score. Details: Verification Guidelines.

Worth adding, since it changed this week: a trader who connects a read-only exchange key does not start their history from today. We pull the account's closed trades back as far as the exchange keeps them - two years on Bybit, which refuses anything older - so most connected accounts clear the rating threshold (30 closed trades and 60 days of history) on the day they connect, not two months later.

The threshold exists so that percentages computed on five trades never get printed in large type; it is not a queue and there is nobody to ask for a faster review.

One current limit to be upfront about: key-based verification works with Bybit accounts today. Binance and other exchanges are coming - the design is the same, we simply prove one exchange end-to-end before adding the next.

And the badge still doesn't mean what people hope it means. Verified says the numbers were measured by us from the exchange's own records rather than reported by their owner. It says nothing about whether they are good ones - a verified account can be, and several are, deeply unprofitable.
